Georgia’s race for Governor is getting in gear – do you have a say on the agenda or has it been decided?

First, let me start off by saying I I'll do my best not to endorse any parties and not to 'hate on' any candidate too much - I want this to be an independent forum for the thoughts and wishes of people in Atlanta and around the southeast.

If you're already saying to yourself 'the race doesn't matter, because Georgia is a red state,'  keep reading because this year proves to be more interesting with Sonny Perdue causing a bit of crisis of leadership for the Republicans or will Republicans produce a new star?

I've been following the candidates for almost a year now and for the most parts the candidates are trying to set the agenda to focus on 3 primary issues:

Water, Transportation, Education

Do these sound like your top priorities for your Governor?  Do you already have an opinion about the race?   Do you even know who is running or do you just want facts?  Will any candidates use these topics as a platform to deal with potentially greater and more immediate issues regarding the economy or are you more interested in the Governor taking care of the state and staying out of job creation?  Will the Libertarians make a real run or just steal votes from the middle of the road from both parties?

I'd love to hear your thoughts as I've chatted personally with candidates from the Republican and the Democratic parties (sorry, I haven't run into any Indies) and I'm giving both sides feedback on the demand I'm seeing across the blogosphere and other social media sites.  I'm hoping they use the information I present them to realize what the people want and help use the internet to restore a sense of democracy to the politics of this state.  If you want to be heard, join the discussion on Liberty and Justice for all here.

Get informed and Vote.
